Townsville Logistics is a Townsville based transport and logistics company and a direct subsidiary of Korea Zinc Company Limited.

In 2017, Townsville Logistics commenced operations in providing transport services to Sun Metals Zinc Refinery and rapidly expanded providing services to other companies.

Townsville Logistics’ mission is to be the best logistics company in the world by being firstly the safest, the most customer oriented and the most innovative logistics services provider in the world.

With Safety being a priority, we have a focus on continuously improving our Safety Management system, processes and culture to achieve the very highest standard of Occupational Health and Safety in all our activities and aspiring to zero harm. 

Current operations focus on the transport of concentrates, chemicals, containers and cement for some of the largest mining operators in Australia, throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Townsville Logistics provides a tailored solution for new and existing partners, offering financial and productivity advantages to their current operations.

The company is focused on optimising its operations by being at the technological forefront of the heavy haulage transport sector by actively considering all possible technological improvements available.

Townsville Logistics operates a fleet of 28 prime movers and around 150 trailers, and due to our innovative approach, are sought out as a partner to provide solutions for new customers. 

Townsville Logistics operate a 24/7 maintenance department which services our own equipment, along with Sun Metals’ on site fleet of mobile machinery.

Our partnership with our sister company Townsville Marine Logistics means we are now able to provide the full package of logistics, from on-site haulage, mine to port transport, storage, and stevedoring utilising TML’s state of the art port handling equipment.
